Oh, how wrong I was about this movie😅expecting just the spooky stuff- I' m gonna blame the trailer for that haha (and the fact that I didn't taken into consideration the director previous work)🙈🤦♀️ it's a story to be experienced-favorite part of the review. and yeah, usually I'm not a fan of this approach but for Kaufman s films, I think that this is the best approach. After the credits rolled, I found myself feeling melancholic and then full of hope (for some reason) was my experience with the movie, I really enjoyed it!💙 Also I appreciate the stuff happening in the video, and the parallel between Ionesco's absurd and Buñuel's. Love theatre and I find myself resonating with Ionesco's absurd, especially in The Lesson. Thanks for another enjoyable and informative review!✌🌼.
Yeah, that's the re-released version of The Wizard of Oz. The original is much more convincing
I cried watching I'm thinking of ending things. For me it is not a thriller at all.
The Wizard of Oz scene is remastered hence they replaced the hanging munchkin with a bird.
Im so depressed. I probably wasnt in the right state of mind to watch this. Just like with any of Kaufmans movies really, specifically eternal sunshine. This movie reminded me of enemy. Insidious: that boy scene is a copied scene from a paranormal show. When my friend and I watched Hereditary we accidentally paused it right at the shot in 9:20, where Annie is seen on the ceiling. We didnt notice and went to get snacks and when we came back and went to unpause it we saw her and I swear I nearly choked on my drink. Both of us were legitimately scared to unpause. What a trip of a movie. Will def get better as you rewatch. This is what made the movie for me. simply fantastic. As a musical theatre major myself i was pleasantly surprised and felt so smart understanding the parallels between jake and jud kaufman laid out in the movie.
OMG. You look good. The picture, the mom and Liberian are really the only things on the background you might not notice at first the rest of them I don't agree with. But it was entertaining. Amazing.

What's the name of a background song. Man I just watched this and boooooy was it worth it. If you look very closely. WHERE LOOK WHERE UHHH SO FRUSTRATING. I watched this film, didn't understand a thing, and yet it was beautiful. In this scene is where I realized I was looking at a work of art.
